Book cover

For today's tasks we had to create a book cover of our favourite book I created one about George's Marvellous Medicine. we had to add pictures, colour, author, title and illustrator if it had one. I enjoyed this task because we could get cool pictures and add colour to make it stand out. I found finding pictures challenging because I couldn't get one to suit my book cover.

Hi My name is Caleb I am 9 but I am turning 10 in April, I live in the far north of New Zealand. I go to Kaingaroa School, I am a year 6 in tui whanau. My hobbies are fishing, golfing and rugby. My favourite food is fish and chips, I have one younger sister. My favourite animal is a Raccoon. My favourite subject in class is maths. Welcome to my blog.

Shared picnic

On Tuesday we read a story about Grandparents Day. the story was about grandparents coming to see a show and have a picnic. For our reading task we had to create a scene of the shared picnic at the park. I created mind by using recycled materials that i found around the house. I used Lego figures to make it more realistic and fun. I also used paper straws to make the swing and barrier around the climbing frame, connecting them together with hot glue. I enjoyed this task as i like creating and making things using that LEGO figurines i can move them around and play with them.
