The charity I chose is the SPCA. It helps animals that have been hurt, injured or left to die. They help the animals by giving them shelter and food. They help to protect the animals and rehome them when they are better.
Hi Caleb, The SPCA is a great charity and they do a lot of work for the animals in New Zealand but sadly they only get less than 1% of their funding from the government so they rely on their communities for fundraisers, donations and the income of their SPCA charity stores. When we would go on holiday we would take our pets to the SPCA and they would look after them until we get back. Do you have any pets and does your community have an SPCA?
