Space Art

W.A.L.T upload my learning to my blog and write about it.

For the last few weeks we have been creating a space art. First we had to sketch a background on a A3 piece of paper and have a main picture my main picture was a astronaut. Then we used sponges to paint the background then got a small paintbrush and flicked white paint on the background to make stars. Next we cut out our Sketchers then glued it on our background. Here is my artwork.

What did I enjoy?

This was a fun activity I enjoyed lots of things. One thing was using the sponges to create my background because it was fun to dab the sponge on the paper to create a cool texture. I also enjoyed sketching the planets and my astronaut I don't really enjoy sketching but this time it was fun and a little bit hard.

What was my favourite part?

my favourite part of this artwork is my astronaut it took me quite a long time to sketch him but that was my absolute favourite part. My next favourite part was the planet in the left top corner that took me not even one minute to sketch that because it was so easy.

What could I improve on?

One thing I could improve on is my moon it wasn't the Perfect Circle but I still like it. Another thing I could improve on is my sponge background because it is not dark enough I should I put some black in the background but it was still really cool.

Have you done a space artwork before?
