Scratch art

W.A.L.T upload my learning to my blog and write about it.

Yesterday for our art task we did scratch art of an animal. My animal that I decided to do was a jellyfish. I like jellyfish because they camouflage in the clear water and you can't see me in until they sting you. Did you know jellyfish has no brain, heart, bones or eyes. To make the art we first got a piece of hard cardboard and coloured it was pastle I chose to use white pastle. Then we painted over it with black paint. once the paint was dry we scratched our animal out with a skewer.

Have you done scratch art before?

  1. Hello Caleb I liked the information you wrote about the animal you made. I've actually done scratch art before except it was a little bit different. Maybe next time you could tell us just a bit more information about the jellyfish, like what type of jellyfish you're talking about?
